The bon dance schedule has not been published by the local newspapers yet, but we received a preliminary schedule from Mike. Once the published schedule is released, we’ll confirm and update the schedule that we have made available online.

The first bon dance of the summer will be held at the Waipahu Plantation Village on Saturday, June 7 at 5:00 pm. The address is 94-695 Waipahu Street, Waipahu. For more information, call (808) 677-0110.

The bon dance posse gathered this past Saturday, May 24, 2008, to celebrate the coming of summer and to kick off the 2008 bon dance season. Thanks to Mike for sharing the preliminary 2008 bon dance schedule (for Oahu, Hawaii) with us which hasn’t even been published by the newspapers yet!

Thanks to everyone who came to the party! We will definitely make this an annual event.
